В Nhon Trach 3 and 4 Power Plant Project located in Phuoc Khanh commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province is an important national project implemented by PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power). The project has a capacity of 1,500 MW and a total investment of 1.4 billion USD.

В The project is constructed and installed by a reputable joint venture of general contractors, LILAMA Corporation and Samsung C&T. This is the first project to use the most modern imported LNG fuel in Vietnam at thistime.

В When put into operation, the project will add 9 billion kWh of electricity/year, contributing to promoting clean energy transition in Vietnam and implementing the commitment to net zero emissions by 2050.

В Once again, Asia Electric Energy Joint Stock Company (ACEE) was trusted by the investor and general contractor to be the testing unit to calibrate all primary and secondary equipment of the plant. Responding to the trust and responsibility entrusted by the investor, ACEE coordinated with TA experts from equipment suppliers to work day and night, overcoming sun and rain to complete the testing work, with quality. and progress is guaranteed according to the very high requirements of the general contractor and investor, ready for good power receiving equipment.

В With the success of progress in receiving reverse power for the 220kV distribution yard. Investor POW, EPC General Contractor Joint Venture (LLM & SCT) and contractors have coordinated to speed up work related to acceptance and trial run of main equipment and auxiliary systems to bring the factory up quickly. Quickly connect to the national electricity system. What is necessary to meet the above requirements is to make the “heart of the factory beat”, the main transformer GSUT with 915 MVA capacity up to now is “the largest capacity 220kV transformer operating on Vietnam’s power grid, with self-used transformers that must be ready to receive electricity.

В At 7:05 p.m. on July 18, 2024, ACEE and related parties successfully energized the main transformer GSUT and 2 self-use transformers SST.

Dong Nien 110kV transformer station (E8.1) in zone 5, Viet Hoa ward, Hai Duong city was built in 1977. Initially the substation was operated with transformer T1-25MVA-115/38.5/6, 6.6kV, which is the only 110kV station supplying power to the entire Hai Duong province and 2 districts of Yen My and Van Giang in Hung Yen province.

Currently, the station is operating with 04 110kV transformers, with a total capacity of 206MVA; main power supply for the loads of Hai Duong city and neighboring districts.

The first equipment on the 110kV, 35kV and 22kV side of the Dong Nien 110kV station are all equipment that have been operating for a long time, operating unstable, especially the equipment on the 110kV, 35kV side and the busbar cabinet system: C42, C43. The station’s control and protection relay system is currently using old-generation digital protection relays, the functions are not enough according to the regulations and requirements, and there is no IEC61850 connection standard.

Participating in the large-scale repair and renovation project, modernizing the Dong Nien 110kV substation, Asia Electric Energy Joint Stock Company (ACEE) plays the role of a contractor to perform the test and calibration of the components. first and second equipment of the project. With a team of experienced technicians, working day and night continuously, overcoming many difficulties due to short power cut time for construction, the situation of COVID-19 epidemic is still tense. ACEE has coordinated with the investor, construction units, completed the project energizing on schedule, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

After renovating Dong Nien 110kV station from an old operating control station, it was changed to unmanned station, thereby improving the operational stability of power supply for Hai Duong city and neighboring districts, contributing to meet the needs of socio-economic development of the province.

Lai Khe 110kV transformer station (E8.6) is one of the oldest stations of Hai Duong province, built in Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province and energised and put into operation in March 2002. The station is responsible for supplying electricity to the loads in Kim Thanh, Kinh Mon, Thanh Ha and Nam Sach districts. Currently, the management station operates 09 110kV lanes, 02 110kV transformers with a total capacity of 126 MVA and 12 feeder lines 35, 22kV.

Over time, it has been found that primary devices and protective relays have operated for a long time, not ensuring safety when supplying power. Therefore, Hai Duong Power Company has implemented the renovation, upgrading and modernization of the 110kV Lai Khe substation to become an unmanned kitchen station.

With its confirmed reputation and capacity, ACEE participates in the project of repairing, upgrading and modernizing the Lai Khe 110kV transformer station as a contractor performing the testing, calibrate the second device on the 110kV side.

In the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic, moving between localities as well as other activities serving the project encountered many obstacles, especially due to the short power cut time for construction in the electricity industry. . However, with the companionship of the investor and the coordination of construction units, ACEE’s staff has made great efforts to overcome difficulties, both ensuring the project progress and ensuring the implementation of 5K, strictly implement the directives of the Government and localities to complete the energizing of the project on schedule, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Xuan Thanh Cement Factory located in Thanh Nghi Commune, Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam Province, is known as one of the few domestic cement factories pioneering the application of current “green” production technology chains which is a leading company in the world with quality product chains, meeting the strict requirements of key domestic and export projects.

According to the development roadmap in 2022, in order to increase capacity, Xuan Thanh Cement Factory continues to expand the construction of Line 3 with an investment of over 700 billion VND. It is expected that by the end of 2022, line 3 will officially come into operation, bringing the total capacity of the plant in Ha Nam to nearly 10 million tons of cement per year. To further meet the demand for high quality cement in the country and for export. At the same time, creating jobs for a large part of laborers inside and outside the locality, making a significant contribution to the State budget. This is also a project approved by the Prime Minister and added to the master plan on development of Vietnam’s cement industry for the period 2011-2020 and orientation to 2030.

With its confirmed reputation and capacity, ACEE is trusted by the investor to be selected as the unit that parallels the testing and calibration of all first-class equipment, control systems, and 110kV side protection systems, 6kV side, medium voltage cable system, combined test to protect against 110kV NMXM Xuan Thanh line DC3-NMXM Xuan Thanh 1, protection of 110kV line NMXM Xuan Thanh DC3-220kV Thanh Nghi substation, parameter measurement of 02 110kV lines and the inspection of all equipment on the 110kV side for the plant. The project was energized at 22:50′ on March 1, 2022.

Facing the increasingly complicated situation of the COVID-19 epidemic across the country, the construction plans deployed at the project faced many difficulties for most contractors. However, with the unremitting efforts of the contractors in general and the ACEE technical team in particular, the calibration and testing work of the equipment at the project has achieved the best quality, meeting the exact requirements and receive the appreciation of the investor.

Reactive power is no work energy, generated by reactive components in an AC power system. Reactive power does not produce work but causes negative economic and technical effects. Therefore, it is necessary to have measures to compensate for reactive power in order to limit the influence of reactive power on the power system as follows:
– Reduce power loss on elements of the power supply system (transformers, lines…).
– Reduce voltage loss on transmission lines.
– Increase power transmission capacity of lines and substations.

With the above important goals, EVNNPC – Phu Tho Power Company coordinated with the contractors that have energised and successfully put into operation the 110kV compensating capacitor with a capacity of 20MVAr at the 110kV Pho Vang Substation, Thanh Son town, Thanh Son district, Phu Tho province. In which, ACEE is the unit that performs all the testing work for the first and second equipment of the 110kV capacitor bank, including the 110kV capacitor and reactor system, the control and protection system for the compensating capacitor. After being put into operation, the 110kV capacitor bank protection control system is connected to the Northern Dispatch Center (A1) and remote control centers through the IEC 61850 communication protocol.

ACEE with a team of experienced technicians combined with a team of young enthusiastic engineers, has put the project into safe and reliable operation, contributing to reducing the amount of reactive power received from the system and improve the power quality for industrial loads of the electricity grid in Thanh Son district in particular and in Phu Tho province in general.
